This four-day course covers the knowledge necessary to understand the features and functionality and key use cases of a Dell EMC Unity storage system. Topics include system administration, storage provisioning, storage resource access, scalability and performance features, storage efficiency features, data protection features and data mobility features.

This five-day course prepares students to implement, configure and administer the Dell PowerScale NAS Solution. Topics include an overview of hardware, the configuration and verification of basic and advanced networking, authentication, identity management and authorization, client and data access, data layout, and OneFS modules such as SmartPools, SnapshotIQ, SyncIQ, SmartDedupe, and others.

The course provides the expertise necessary for an Administrator to consider and plan for future growth, the understanding to implement best practices to avoid common issues, and the ability to quickly diagnose the source of issues and work efficiently with PowerScale support resources. It also provides advanced details about PowerScale disaster recovery and the expertise necessary for an administrator to consider and plan for disasters.

This five-day course provides detailed coverage of ECS features designed to support typical use cases, including global content repository, geo-scale object storage with Access Anywhere, and Big Data Analytics.

This five-day course provides instruction for physical installation and cabling of PowerStore systems. It includes PowerStore system initialization and deployment instructions along with practice opportunities to achieve a function production storage state. Day-to-day PowerStore administrative tasks for block, file, and VMware storage resources and services are also provided. The course includes PowerStore system hardware and software upgrades, and basic troubleshooting.

This five-day course provides participants with the knowledge and basic skills to install, configure, administer, monitor and troubleshoot a Dell EMC Avamar backup environment. Labs demonstrate how to install Avamar Administrator and backup clients, configure and perform backups and restores, install and configure Avamar server software for single-node and multi-node Avamar servers, and perform system migration, node addition and node replacement tasks, and Avamar security. Recommended Avamar best practices are presented throughout the course.

This five-day course explains and demonstrates the deployment, configuration, and use of NetWorker. Students learn how to deploy the NetWorker components; how to upgrade NetWorker to the latest release; and how to configure NetWorker for operation.
